This privacy policy covers the Vellu.ai marketing website (vellu.ai). The Vellu application itself, available at ink.vellu.ai, has its own privacy policy shown to users in-app; this document does not govern the app.

2. What Data This Website Collects

This website does not ask you to submit any personal data. It is a static marketing site with no signup forms, contact forms, or user accounts.

We collect only the following through analytics:

Aggregated page-view analytics via Umami — a privacy-focused analytics service that does not set tracking cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. Umami data is limited to page URL, referrer, browser/OS type, country (country-level only), and aggregated event counts.
Meta (Facebook) Pixel — used for ad measurement. The Pixel is loaded only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. It sets cookies and shares browsing data with Meta. If you click Reject (or don't make a choice), the Pixel never loads on your visit. You can change your decision at any time using the button at the bottom of this page.
Google Ads — used for ad measurement and remarketing across Google's ad network. Loaded only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. The tag sets cookies and may transfer data to the United States.

No other data is collected. We do not read, store, or share any form-submitted personal information on this website.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Analytics are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in understanding aggregate visitor behaviour so we can improve the site.

All hosting infrastructure is located in EU regions where possible. Meta Pixel and Google Ads data may be transferred to the US under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies. We store your cookie-banner choice in your browser's localStorage (key vellu:cookie_consent) — this is strictly necessary for the consent mechanism to work and does not require consent under ePrivacy.

If you accept the cookie banner, the enabled third-party providers may set their own cookies — Meta typically sets _fbp / _fbc (covered by Meta's privacy policy), and Google Ads typically sets _gcl_* (covered by Google's privacy policy). To withdraw consent later, use the button below or clear site data in your browser.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your personal data. Because this website does not store personal data, most of these rights apply only to cookies or analytics data held by our processors listed above — contact them (or us) to exercise them.
